The Degree Audit (Stellic) platform is Cornell's Ithaca & Cornell Tech campuses’ upcoming online degree management, planning, and auditing tool. Once fully implemented, its robust features will allow students to plan their schedules for future academic terms, see how they are progressing in their degrees, and explore how different majors and minors would fit into their academic planning. This Introduction to Stellic at Cornell University video gives an overview of the ways in which Stellic will support students, advisors, and administrators at Cornell.

The platform, which has been in development since fall of 2023 will launch later in 2024 to advisors and students within a small subset of CALS programs. Key components such as system configuration, installation, integration design, and initial queries are complete. Work is underway to send data via API for faster and easier integration in the future. Stellic has proven to have a user-friendly interface that has made building audits intuitive for the project team.

Degree audits are being built for small group of departments within CALS for this first phase. Testing and validation to ensure accurate audit builds and student data will begin over the next several weeks for these departments.

This launch phase is critical to laying the groundwork for the future onboarding of all CALS majors, and eventually, all degree programs at Cornell Ithaca and Cornell Tech. More information on the timing of this release will be available soon.
