Over the next few weeks, most staff and faculty will have the option to provide a dial-in number for a Teams meeting. This allows participants to join you by phone when they have limited internet access, or when phone access is otherwise preferred.

Phased Rollout

You will receive an email when you have the option to use audio conferencing for your Teams meetings. This email will give you your personal dial-in information and PIN. You can read the email text on Verified Cornell Communications. (If you have an urgent need for audio conferencing please contact the IT Service Desk after February 23 for assistance.)

How to Use This Feature

For instructions about using audio conferencing, refer to Microsoft’s documentation at Join a Teams meeting by phone.

At this time, Microsoft has not made audio conferencing available to those with an A1 license.
