Look Up Your Computer's Device Name

Every computer that is managed by the DFA/CIT Service Group has a "device name." These instructions explain how to find your computer's device name.
Device Names on Windows
- Right-click the Computer icon on the desktop and select Properties.
- On the next screen, look in the Computer name: field. This is your device name, for example OIT-PQS665-L.
Device Names on Mac
- Click the Apple logo in the upper left corner and select System Preferences.
- Click the Sharing folder icon. On the next screen, your device name is listed at the top, for example OIT-PQS665-ML.
