Services and support for teaching with technology 

Get services and support for teaching with technology through the Center for Teaching Innovation.

Start by emailing acadtech@cornell.edu or calling (607) 255-9760. You'll be working with staff who have expertise in learning technologies and can assist with instructional technology implementation, developing instructional projects and digital course materials, sharing effective practices, and conducting research on effective uses of technology for teaching and learning. All services are available at no charge to faculty and academic staff (including teaching assistants) in support of a course.

Teaching & Learning in the Diverse Classroom Online Course

The Center for Teaching Innovation is offering a new online course in Fall 2019, Teaching & Learning in the Diverse Classroom. This course is open to the Cornell teaching community, with all disciplines and any level of diversity expertise welcome.

Canvas@Cornell

Migration to Canvas

All Cornell faculty (or administrative support) will need to move course content from Blackboard to Canvas by the Spring semester of 2020.

New Faculty Institute

New Faculty Institute

The New Faculty Institute (NFI) is a series of workshops over one day in which participants practice and build teaching skills, discuss ways to balance scholarship and teaching, and connect with a strong faculty network.
