Microsoft Teams channels have a small  ⓘ  button for each channel in the top right of the screen.  

The Channel Info button makes these relevant details easily accessible. Click the icon to see the channel description, membership, relevant apps, pinned posts, and recent updates in a side panel. To close the information pane, just click the icon again.
