The Classic version of Microsoft Teams will stop working at Cornell January 16, 2025. Almost all Cornell Teams users will not be affected by this change because they have already switched to New Teams. 

Since July, reminders have appeared during every Classic Teams app startup that say New Teams should be used instead. Microsoft already phased out Classic Teams for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 in October. Individuals who still need to make the change should see Microsoft’s Switch to the new Microsoft Teams.
