Below is rate change information for FY17 for the following IT services:

  • Shared File Services          
  • Desktop Everywhere
  • Endpoint Management Tools
  • Managed AV
  • Custom Web Development

Shared File Service

Shared File Services provide file storage which enables sharing of files between groups of users and computers. 

Shared File Service rates dropped 20% as of July 1, 2016, for FY17.  This change comes from lowering the cost from  5-cents per gigabyte per month, to 4-cents per gigabyte per month.

Desktop Everywhere - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Connect to a Windows desktop environment via the Internet, from anywhere, on any device, to use available software for your work.

Desktop Everywhere lowered the cost of the security enhanced option for Desktop Everywhere for FY17 from $17/month to $15/month. 

Endpoint Management Tools (formerly Managed Desktop)

Endpoint Management Tools provides tools for IT staff to automate the deployment and ongoing maintenance of software for desktops and laptops in compliance with university policy. 

The service fee is per workstation, billed monthly. For FY17 there will be a special two-for-one rate.

  • $1.25 per month per workstation
  • One-time onboarding fee waived (normally $600 for new units)

Managed AV

Managed AV, a new service, supports new and, in some cases, existing room technologies by bundling a data network infrastructure with AV remote management tools.
