Designed around evolving project needs, the backfill opportunities allow participants to build new skills, gain exposure to different teams, contribute to strategic initiatives, and broaden their professional networks. This program is intended to help employees grow while supporting key priorities across Cornell. 

Cornell's Talent Acquisition team is hosting two virtual information sessions on May 21, 2026, and May 29, 2026, both from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET via Zoom. The sessions will provide an overview of how the program works, what opportunities are available, and how staff can express interest. 

Participation in a session or submitting interest does not commit employees to a role, but offers a chance to explore options aligned with their career goals and availability.
