Cornell Information Technologies, along with IT units from across campus, are pleased to announce Cornell DrupalCamp Code Sprint. The Code Sprint is the afternoon before Cornell DrupalCamp, and is geared toward developers who wish to get together and write code. The fee is $15 and covers room rentals and snacks. To register, fill out the form for Cornell DrupalCamp and check the box next to Code Sprint. We are also looking for faciltiators for the workshop. Please select yes if you'd like to volunteer.

Cornell Information Technologies, along with IT units from across campus, are pleased to announce “Drupal Basics,” a half-day training by Vanessa Turke, the keynote speaker for DrupalCamp, to be held the next day. Drupal Basics is a site planning class, focusing on developing the content structure, user roles, and permissions that are part of a strong foundation for a Drupal site. Join Academic Technologies for a hands-on workshop on Turnitin, plagiarism detection software that scans student work for matched text by comparing the work to a large database of student work, publications, and materials on the Internet. Sessions will cover: creating a Turnitin assignment, viewing student work in Turnitin, and grading a Turnitin assignment. Prior experience with Blackboard OR completion of "Getting Started with Blackboard" is recommended.
