Set Document Language
Screen readers use document language to determine pronunciation rules. To make your document accessible, you must set the language.

Word
- Select Review.
- Select Language.
- Select Language Preferences.
- Set the language.
- Select OK.
InDesign
Language settings are found under Paragraph Style.
- Select Paragraph Styles.
- Under Menu icon, select New Paragraph Styles.
- Select Advanced Character Formats.
- Set Language.

Adobe Acrobat
- Select File.
- Select Properties.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Under the Reading Options, select the Language.
- Select OK.
