On Saturday, May 11, 2024, TeamDynamix will be upgraded to version 11.9. This release will introduce several new and enhanced features.

Of particular interest to Cornell IT staff are the following:

General Enhancements

Communications Filter for the Feed

The Feed has been updated to include a new Communications filter, which focuses the feed on customer communications and notes. This appears in the TDNext view of all feeds. Customers can choose to see communication feeds by default within their profile settings.

Communication-Type messages include:

  • A Feed entry that came from an Update
  • A Comment inputted manually on the item or from email
  • Replies to Feed entries
  • A Feed entry that includes a comment
  • A Feed entry that sent a notification
  • A Feed entry that has been made public at one time

"Last Feed Entry" Added to Report Sources

The following fields have been added to Tickets, Ticket Tasks, Assets, Projects, Risks, and Issues report sources and can be added to reports in the report builder:

  • Last Communication Comment
  • Last Communication User
  • Last Communication Email
  • Last Feed Entry
  • Last Feed Entry User

Knowledge Management Enhancements

Notification Reminders for KB Article Review Dates

Knowledge Base articles will send notification reminders about upcoming review dates by default in production environments. This can be changed within the article settings.

Within the Settings for a Client Portal application in TDAdmin, admin users can set the interval at which these reminder notifications will be sent. The default interval is set at 14 days before the review date.

Print View for Knowledge Base Articles

Customers can select Print Article in Knowledge Base articles to open a formatted print view of the article, then select the sections that they would like to print.

Notify Owner on Feedback Default

A new setting has been added to the client portal application to set a default value for the Notify Owner on Feedback option on new articles.
