Student taking notes at the computer

Stellic, an online degree planning, management, and auditing tool, is replacing existing inefficient methods of degree auditing (spreadsheets, PDFs, forms, homegrown solutions, etc.) with a unified degree auditing platform across the Ithaca and Cornell Tech campuses.

The project team is excited to share that they are on track to complete initial implementation tasks in a total of seven colleges/schools by April 2026.

Implementing Stellic has given students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Dyson School of Applied Economics, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and the School of Industrial and Labor Relations the tools they need to plan for classes that fill their degree requirements. Registrar and advising staff also benefit from the platform, gaining access to the same real-time information to better support students in achieving their academic goals.

Adoption among students has been strong, with 79% of those who received access to Stellic prior to April 2026 actively using the platform.

Several schools are slated to go live in April 2026, including Architecture, Art & Planning, Brooks School of Public Policy, and Human Ecology. The Office of University Registrar is already looking ahead and has announced the next set of colleges and schools selected for implementation in the 2026-2027 academic year. By 2028, the university expects Stellic to be available institution‑wide on the Ithaca and Cornell Tech campuses.
