Introduction to Product Pilots
This article applies to: Academic LMS Evaluation
Beginning in the summer of 2017, as part of our academic LMS review, Cornell will conduct a pilot evaluation of three learning management systems. Faculty are currently being invited to participate. The LMS being considered are:
- Blackboard Ultra, a next-generation redesign from Blackboard, Inc.
- Canvas from Instructure
- Brightspace from Desire2Learn (D2L)
Pilot participants will use one of the pilot systems for their course or courses for the Fall 2017 semester. The Academic Technologies team will provide technical support to assist in learning and using the new system. Participants will also join occasional meetings with other faculty participants and the evaluation team to collect feedback.
If you are interested in participating in this pilot, please let us know at lmseval@cornell.edu.
