If this is the first time you're connecting to RedRover with this device, you'll be asked to complete a quick registration process. Cornell University Policy 5.7, Network Registry, requires registration of all devices connected to the network. The following steps apply only when you're registering a device.
On the Cornell Network page, click Connect with Cornell NetID or GuestID.
On the CUWebLogin page, enter your Cornell NetID or GuestID and password, and if necessary, select the ID Type. Then click Login.
On the Registration page, enter a Description for the device, and then click Register.
The description should help you identify which devices you've registered. Enter a description that makes sense to you.
Registration can take up to 5 minutes to take effect. To use the device immediately, reboot it.
Note: If you have not accepted the Cornell Network Terms and Conditions, you'll be asked to agree to the terms on the My Computers page. You can also add or edit a device description or remove a registration at any time on the My Computers page.
