NUBB Overview

Network Usage-Based Billing

This article applies to: Wi-Fi, Wired Network

NUBB fees are suspended indefinitely as part of Cornell's response to coronavirus.

NUBB (Network Usage-Based Billing) is an app that tracks Internet usage for everyone connected to the Cornell network. Although faculty and staff can view usage, only students may incur NUBB charges.

Most students will never exceed the 250 GB of FREE monthly usage. Any student who uses 70% of the FREE monthly usage will receive a NUBB email with information about how to monitor and reduce NUBB usage.
