How do I unlock my account in Two-Step Login?

What to do if your Two-Step Login account is locked

This article applies to: Two-Step Login

Two-Step Login displays the message: “Your account has been locked out due to excessive authentication failures. Please contact your administrator.” when I try to log in.

Please contact the IT Service Desk to unlock your Two-Step Login account. You will need to go to the Service Desk with your ID or have access to a computer that can support a Zoom session.

IMPORTANT: This message means someone tried to use Two-Step Login several times for your account without success. If this wasn’t you, someone may have stolen your NetID password. You should change your NetID password and inform the IT Service Desk that your NetID may have been compromised.
