Set Your Photo (Office 365)

This article applies to: Skype for Business (Windows)


Our testing has found the handling of images to be inconsistent. A new photo may, for example, show up in Outlook and Outlook on the Web, but not be changed in Skype.

You can associate the photo (or image) of your choice with your Office 365 account. This image will appear in Outlook and Skype.

  1. In your browser, open Outlook on the Web at
    outlook.cornell.edu
  2. Sign in using your NetID@cornell.edu address and password.
  3. At the upper-right, next to your name, click the gear icon, then under Your app settings, select Office 365.
  4. In the left column, click Personal info.
  5. Click your photo to change it.

To return to Outlook on the Web, click the nine-dot icon at the upper left, then select Mail.

To Remove Your Photo

  1. In your browser, open Outlook on the Web at
    outlook.cornell.edu
  2. Sign in using your NetID@cornell.edu address and password.
  3. At the upper-right, next to your name, click the gear icon, then under Your app settings, select Office 365.
  4. In the left column, click Personal info.
  5. Click your photo.
  6. Click the trash can icon.
  7. To return to Outlook on the Web, click the nine-dot icon at the upper left, then select Mail.
