This article applies to: Shared File Services

All shares are protected in the following ways. 

  • RAID-6
  • Redundant hardware components and connectivity

You can choose additional protection from the following options.

  • Enable asynchronous replication
  • Enable snapshots
    • Snapshots are required if an Off-Site Disaster Recovery Copy is appropriate.
    • While this process does utilize EZ-Backup (default management class), this DR copy is not for user-based file restoration.
