  • The Cornell Secure File Transfer service is approved for sharing high-risk information and is owned by Cornell and designed with high-risk sharing in mind. Remember that the files you download from Cornell Secure File Transfer can be saved in Download folders and hidden cached areas on your computer if you’re not careful.
  • Limited direct access to the approved location where the data is stored may be another acceptable method. Contact your local technical support team or the IT Service Desk for additional assistance.

Before using any IT tool to send, store or share institutional information, review the Regulated Data Chart.
