Install the Remedy Smart IT Mobile App

The Remedy Smart IT mobile app is available for Android and iOS.

iOS users: Remedy Smart IT does not support iOS 11.
  1. On your mobile device, navigate to
  2. https://cornell-smartit.onbmc.com/download/cornell/smartit/
  3. Choose the download for your device.
    iOS users will then need to set "BMC Software, Inc." as a trusted enterprise developer, using Apple's instructions.
  4. When running the Smart IT app for the first time, for Server Name,
    use cornell-smartit.onbmc.com
    Leave the Port blank.

If you use Duo, Cornell's two-factor authentication service, you may find that Duo does not always fully process your authentication, and the Smart IT app will fail to load. We suggest you try re-logging into the app.
