Email Customers (Remedy Classic View)

This procedure assumes you are viewing a particular incident or work order record.

  1. In the left navigation, under Functions, click Email System. An Email System window with the email address filled in, and the subject line showing the incident/work order number. Both of these fields can be edited.
  2. Enter your message text and/or use Email Templates by selecting them from the drop-down list.
  3. When finished, click Send Email Now.

Emails you send via Remedy will be logged as part of the corresponding incident/work order. If the customer replies to your message, it will be added to the record as a Work Info entry.
