Create New Customers (Remedy Smart IT)

Everyone with a NetID already has a customer record in Remedy. You will only need to create a new customer if the person does not have a NetID.

Do not use the Create new console for this purpose.

  1. Click Smart Recorder.
  2. Type @ followed by the customer's name. The none of the matches are correct, click Create New Customer.
  3. In the Create Customer window, enter the customer's First Name, Last Name, and Email. These fields are required for proper searching. Enter other fields as appropriate.
  4. Click Save.
