Outlook Problem: Some Students Not Receiving Meeting Invitations

All three major versions of Outlook (Windows, Mac, and Outlook on the web) have a control that allows you to turn off forwarding for your meeting proposals. This prevents someone you invite from forwarding the invitation to additional people. Your invitation may include information, including Zoom sign-in information, that you don't want shared with others.

The problem is that all mail to Cornell students using G Suite is forwarded behind the scenes. This means that if you turn off forwarding of meeting proposals, the students you invite will NOT receive their invitations and may be unaware of the existence of the meeting.

If you know your participant list includes Cornell students, we recommend you NOT use this feature to turn off forwarding.
