NUBB (Network Usage-Based Billing) is an app that tracks Internet usage for everyone connected to the Cornell network. Although faculty and staff can view usage, only students may incur NUBB charges.
Most students will never exceed the 200 GB of FREE monthly usage. Any student who uses 70% of the FREE monthly usage will receive a NUBB email with information about how to monitor and reduce NUBB usage.
NUBB fees ensure that network costs are covered, including anticipated upgrades, and that the costs are distributed in a way that reflects usage patterns.
