Web Accessibility Interim Policy Forum

Join representatives from Cornell Information Technologies for questions and feedback on Cornell University’s new interim Web Accessibility Standards Policy 5.12. This policy is being issued in interim form to allow for completion of the final steps of the university’s formal policy process, which includes final stakeholder review to incorporate feedback.

To provide feedback, you can attend a public forum on web accessibility on:

  • Wednesday, October 31, 2018, from 9:30am - 10:30am in 700 Clark Hall
  • Wednesday, November 7, 2018, from  2:30pm - 3:30pm in 700 Clark Hall

If interested in attending, please register for the event.

This policy has been developed as a result of recent resolutions by the University Assemblies and the resulting Web Accessibility Working Group established by President Pollack. An interim policy has the full authority of a finalized policy. This policy is intended to govern new websites, web content, and web applications at Cornell. This policy will help the university’s efforts to achieve compliance with federal law and meet or surpass WCAG 2.0 industry standards.
