Upgrade to IT Service Billing (Pinnacle)

The IT Service Management team in partnership with CIT Applications and the vendor Calero will be upgrading Pinnacle to V6.5.1 over the weekend of October 16.

Services that use Pinnacle for billing include: Cornell phones, long-distance calls, personal billing numbers, calling cards, data ports, Desktop Everywhere, AV Event Support and Media Production Services and Integrated Audio & Video Engineering.

During the upgrade:

  • Users and support staff will not have access to the Pinnacle system or the Monthly Billing Reports starting at 4:30pm on Friday, October 16.
  • The upgrade is scheduled to be available at the start of business Monday, October 19.
  • October’s bill notifications will be sent after the upgrade is completed.
  • Scheduled Reports should not be impacted by this upgrade and there will be no major changes to the 'Reports' or 'How To’s.'
