Updated Names in Remedy

In April, changes were implemented in Remedy to ensure that people's names matched their preferred names as specified in Cornell’s records. As a result, last names were updated if they had changed, and given names like "Kenneth" or "Elizabeth," for example, became shortened to "Ken" and "Beth." 

If your name changed during this update, then your assignee name in resolved/closed status tickets will retain the prior name value. Current tickets will show the updated preferred naming convention. Because of this, when searching for tickets be aware of the name you are using to search for tickets attached to a particular person, it may be found under a different name search.
