Renewed Contract for Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat Pro

Related services: Software Licensing

Cornell has recently renewed its contract for Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat Pro.

Included in the new contract we have:

  • a larger percentage of Creative Cloud licenses than before;
  • more licenses for computers and labs; allowing for increased access in academic spaces;
  • Acrobat Pro for faculty and staff will now be user specific allowing for home access rights;
  • Creative Cloud for faculty and staff will continue to have user specific access, as well as the additional benefit of having Adobe's online collaborative tools and full use of Adobe mobile apps.

Additionally, the licenses above are now fully-funded by a central university allocation. Units will no longer see a charge-back for their "share" of Adobe use. Please note that most of the licenses in the new contract are already allocated to Cornell staff and faculty who have a business need for the software. For more information on what these services offer and licensing information visit our Adobe Licensing page.
