PMI Meeting, June 26: Opportunities & Challenges of a Large International Project

Interested in learning about project management, especially with an international scope? The June 26 meeting of Ithaca's Project Management Institute (PMI) features Norm Neumayer from Corning Incorporated’s Environmental Technologies division, speaking on the challenges of managing large international projects.

Norm will describe the commercial opportunities that led Corning to invest in a new plant in China for its Environmental Technologies division. Various project team challenges and key advantages will be highlighted and discussed. 

A Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2005, Norm has worked on projects in the U.S., Germany, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and now China. He has been with Corning since 1999 in roles that included project leader and supervisor of the Equipment Engineering group. In 2012 Norm transferred to the Corning Environmental Technologies (CET) division, where he currently manages global projects.
