New Rates for Managed Desktop Start FY17
Cornell’s Managed Desktop service will have new rates and a simplified structure starting with Fiscal Year 2017 (July 1, 2016).
Currently, the service provides over 9,400 Mac and Windows desktops and laptops with these benefits and efficiencies:
- Updates and security patches for software and operating systems
- Library of commonly used software
- University policy compliance
- Rapid response to zero-day security exploits
- Standardized environments
- Inventory reporting
The service’s light and standard versions are being simplified into a single offering, with these rates. To keep costs as low as possible, all rates include a CIT subsidy.
FY17 (starting July 1, 2016)
