New Features in Remedy

New features to Remedy Classic will be available Monday, February 27, 2017.

For Remedy Classic Work Orders:

  • When a customer sends an update to a Work Order, the “Email Updated” flag will show “Yes” in the Overview Console.
  • When a customer sends a comment into Remedy from MyIT, the Email Updated column will be updated to “Yes” and the assignee will get an email update.
  • When someone other than an assignee updates the Work Detail section of a Work Order (either in Smart IT or Classic), the Email Updated column will be updated to “Yes” and Remedy will email the assignee with that update. The email sent to the assignee will now have a link allowing the assignee to quickly access that Work Order.
  • When emailing from a Work Order, the email system will now capture the Work Order number and the Work Order Summary.

For Remedy Classic Incidents:

  • When someone other than an assignee updates the Work Detail section of an Incident (either in Smart IT or Classic), the Email Updated column will be updated to “Yes” and  Remedy will email the assignee with that update. The email sent to the assignee will now have a link allowing the assignee to quickly access the Incident.
  • When a customer sends a comment into Remedy from MyIT, the Email Updated column will be updated to “Yes” and the assignee will get an email update.
