New Academic and Event Scheduling System
The new academic and events scheduling system Scheduling@Cornell is on track to be released Monday, February 24, 2020. This cross-divisional project will replace R25 the current academic and events scheduling (AES) system, as well as the current Event Registration Form (ERF).
What is Scheduling@Cornell?
Scheduling@Cornell is an academic and event scheduling application with a modern, intuitive interface that supports students, faculty, and staff in a variety of ways:
- One-stop university academic and event scheduling system to request locations on campus.
- Event Schedulers can access Scheduling@Cornell to respond to location requests and schedule spaces within their college or unit.
- Academic schedulers can pre-book locations, find locations for classes not scheduled during bulk scheduling, and make adjustments to class location assignments.
- Event Approvers can access all Event Registration requests and related event information in support of their event registration review and approval process.
How do users access Scheduling@Cornell?
- On the Scheduling@Cornell homepage https://scheduling.cornell.edu, users can click on the Scheduling@Cornell button to login using their Cornell NetID via Single Sign-On.
- Users can access Scheduling@Cornell 24/7 via a web browser anywhere there is a secure internet connection.
- Scheduling@Cornell is mobile friendly.
- Unlike R25, Scheduling @Cornell does not require the use of a terminal server.
- If users don't have a NetID and are interested in holding an event on Campus, please contact Events at Cornell University.
What are the technical requirements to operate Scheduling@Cornell?
25Live may be accessed using any of the following browsers:
- Mozilla Firefox for Windows (recommended)
- Google Chrome for Windows (recommended)
- Google Chrome for macOS (recommended)
- Microsoft Internet Explorer (11) (IE) for Windows
- Microsoft Edge (within latest 3 versions)
Both desktop and mobile versions support the current and previous two major versions of the browsers listed above.
Additionally, the mobile version of 25Live Scheduling may be accessed using current versions of the built-in browsers on iOS and Android. There may be minor display differences among browsers due to variations in implementation of Web standards.

How do users learn how to use Scheduling@Cornell?
Although requesting locations in Scheduling@Cornell is fairly intuitive, users who need additional help can access quick reference guides for most tasks by visiting https://scheduling.cornell.edu for more information.
For schedulers and event registration approvers invitations to training sessions have been sent out. We are following up with colleges and units to confirm the attendee list.
How do Scheduling@Cornell users get help or report problems?
User can get help on using the ‘Getting Help’ section of https://scheduling.cornell.edu. They can also report problems and request help by sending an email to scheduling@cornell.edu.
After go-live, the Scheduling@Cornell team will continue to work on:

- Calendar publishing
- Digital signage integration
