Microsoft Teams Chat and Meetings Client Available for Cornell Office 365

Related services: Microsoft Teams

Cornell faculty, students, and staff can now sign into their Cornell Office 365 account with the Microsoft Teams client app. The functionality available through the app--chat and meetings--is largely the same as Skype for Business. Other Microsoft Teams services, such as team and channel creation, are available to faculty now, and will be available to the Cornell community on September 7, 2020.

Cornell staff with centrally managed computers can install the Teams client app from Software Center (Windows) or Self Service (macOS). Teams apps for iOS and Android, and the Windows and Mac client apps for unmanaged computers, may be downloaded from Microsoft.
