Microsoft Ends Support for Internet Explorer in Windows 10

As of June 15, 2022, Microsoft will no longer support the Internet Explorer (IE) browser, the most recent version of which was IE 11.

Users of Cornell-owned and -managed devices that are centrally managed should already have made the move from IE to Microsoft Edge.

Those who use personally owned computers are encouraged to switch to Edge or another browser application. For users who require IE to access a particular web application or website, current versions of Microsoft Edge include an IE compatibility mode providing backward compatibility, which will be supported through at least 2029.
