IT Connects: "5th Hour" Event

Please join us on January 9, 9-11am, for the first ITConnects event of 2018. This two-part event builds on themes that came out of the 2017 MOR Leaders Conference, which over 50 IT professionals from across campus attended.

Part one will be a discussion on leadership by John Whiteway, leadership coach and consultant at Whiteway Leadership. Jon’s leadership point of view is grounded in the idea that leaders are in the business of change. Specifically, leadership is the ability to influence people toward change. Whether it be an individual engagement or a whole organizational initiative, a leader’s primary responsibility is to cast a vision for change and help people as they struggle toward achieving it.

Part two is the “5th Hour” where we will discuss and develop plans around the following themes: Service Rollouts, Technical Debt, and IT as Service Broker. These will be interactive sessions with concrete outcomes for future action.

This event is open to all IT professionals across campus, even if you did not attend the MOR Leaders Conference earlier this year. Additional information and registration
