Improvements Coming to Remedy Smart IT March 11, 2017

A new version of Remedy Smart IT on March 11, 2017 will bring new features and improvements to presets, date and time display, and templates.
 
Preset improvements
In the Ticket Console, you’ll be able to:

  • Specify a default preset filter which will persist even after logging out or refreshing the browser.
  • Edit the preset you’ve specified. Previously, it was necessary to create a new preset and delete the old one.
  • Make preset edits and specify the default in the universal client, and then your selections will be reflected in both the universal and mobile clients. 
  • Apply filters and arrange columns, and then save these settings as a preset that you can retrieve later.

Date and time display improvements
Instead of displaying date and time in relative terms as has been the case (for example, 3 hours ago, 2 days ago), Smart IT will now display the actual date, such as Oct 22, 2016 6:00 pm. Mobile device date and time format will depend on the device settings. The universal client will display date and time in the format used in the location where the browser indicates it is. 

Group-specific ticket templates
Only the templates created for your support group will be displayed. Instead of having to go through a long list, you’ll be able to select the right one quickly from your group’s list.
