Enhancements were recently made to Cornell’s Video Hosting and Sharing service that allow users to adjust font, size, color, and background color of the captioning in the video player.

This improved ability to control the appearance of captioning is intended to allow users to make their captions more legible against varying backgrounds. Captions play an important role web accessibility of video content for users with hearing loss or deafness, and these customization options will allow users to improve the usefulness even more.
