Cority Launch Reconfirmed for Mid-May

Related services: Cority

Cornell leadership has confirmed that the COHSEC project will continue on schedule for a mid-May launch for Cority services for EHS and Occupational Medicine. This confirmation affirms the existing schedule and resolves questions prompted by the Provost’s recent message mentioning the re-evaluation of all capital projects. We can also now share more timeline targets.

April 2020: Pre-cutover tasks
Final technical tasks to formalize the new service, communications, outreach, and training.

May 1 – 10, 2020: Cutover tasks
Migrate configurations from test to prod and stand-up the new production service.

May 11, 2020: Soft Go-Live
The new production service will be available to the core team.

May 12 – 14, 2020: Smoke Testing
The core team puts the production service through its paces and does final testing in the new environment to make sure everything was migrated properly.

May 15, 2020: Hard Go-Live
The new production service is available and rolled out to all individuals outside the core team.

May 18 – June 30, 2020: Stabilization
The service is stabilized–-bugs are fixed, issues are addressed, and the backlog of new requests is built.

If there are any changes to the project, they will be shared as they occur. If you have any questions, please contact cohsec-project@cornell.edu.
