Confluence Version 7.4 Upgrade Scheduled for August 7-12, 2020

Related services: Confluence

The Confluence upgrade and content migration to version 7.4 has been rescheduled to the weekend of August 21-23, 2020. Users and administrators should be aware that Confluence will be unavailable starting Friday, 8/21, at 5:00pm until the upgrade is completed on Sunday, 8/23. The new timeline will reduce the amount of downtime users will experience. The upgraded system will be available again on Monday, August 24, 2020.

The Confluence upgrade team is making final preparations for transition of the service to version 7.4. Thanks to those who participated in pilot testing! The team appreciates the feedback they received.

Migration to the new version of Confluence will begin the evening of Friday, August 7, 2020, and continue through Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Users and admins should be aware that any changes made to Confluence spaces during the upgrade period will NOT be carried over to the new version. Please do not make changes or edits during this period.

Additional details about the Confluence migration project and past updates can be found on the Confluence Update blog. Questions about the upgrade can be directed to jira-confluence@cornell.edu.
