On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, beginning at 12:10pm, Cornell will conduct a regular test of CornellALERT, the campus emergency mass notification (EMN) system.
Those who have opted in to receive CornellALERT notifications can expect test alerts by email, phone, and text message. In addition, test notifications will appear on campus digital signs, in Cornell social media feeds (e.g., Facebook, Twitter), and on campus sirens and public address systems.
On-campus users of managed computers with the Alertus Desktop Notification app installed will see pop-up notifications during the EMN test. (Those working remotely will not see the Alertus notification on their computer, even if they have Alertus installed.)
