The Cornell Student Experience Initiative, an innovative Cornell platform that connects students with hundreds of service and engaged learning opportunities beyond the classroom, has won a prestigious tech award.

IT@Cornell hosted its first ever Big Data Symposium on December 11, 2018. In attendance were over 150 staff from across Cornell, as well as visiting members from Duke University and Ithaca College.

The IT@Cornell Symposium on Big Data will feature a keynote from Brian Beach, a senior solutions architect with Amazon Web Services where he focuses on higher education customers.

Microsoft will end support for all Mac versions of System Center Endpoint Protection (SCEP) on Monday, December 31, 2018. If you're currently using any version of SCEP for Mac, plan to migrate to a replacement endpoint protection product for Mac clients.

Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) Box users can collaborate with faculty, students, and staff at Cornell's Ithaca campus by logging in to Box through the WCM authentication system in their browser before accepting a Box invitation.

Some Cornell faculty and staff who have Adobe Acrobat Pro are being prompted for a sign-in at launch. To fix this issue, faculty and staff who must have Acrobat Pro to do their university work need to apply for a new license under Cornell's current Adobe contract.

In preparation for the migration from Blackboard to Canvas the Center for Teaching Innovation is offering workshops on Cornell’s new academic learning management system, Canvas.
