Console Access

Access to virtual power and snapshot operations is available for servers in the Server Farm.

This article applies to: Managed Servers

The VM Control application provides access to a subset of virtual machine functions for customers of the Server Farm. These capabilities are restricted on a per-server basis to individuals listed as Area Managers or Delegates in SFInfo.

Typical usage scenarios involve power-cycling an otherwise non-responsive host or operating on virtual machine snapshots. Direct access to server consoles remains restricted to Managed Server staff.

If you require assistance with an unresponsive server, and power-cycling via VM Control does not resolve the issue, please contact us via the instructions on our Get Support page.
