Problem: Message You Send Get Tagged as Spam

This article applies to: Email for Faculty and Staff

You may hear that messages you send are ending up in the recipients' Junk or Spam folders. If this happens to you,

  1. Go to your account in Outlook on the Web.
(Launch Outlook on the Web / Go to Cornell's Outlook on the Web help pages).
This method will not work in Outlook for Mac or Windows, so use the Outlook on the Web app.
  2. Drag your message from the Junk folder into the body of a message addressed to the IT Service Desk (itservicedesk@cornell.edu). If you already have a ticket open with the IT Service Desk, include the ticket number in the message's Subject line. Include the information asked for above if you have not already provided that.
