Email Feature: Clutter (Discontinued)

Microsoft has replaced this feature with Focused Inbox.

This article applies to: Email for Faculty and Staff

Clutter was an Office 365 feature that attempted to learn which types of messages you considered most important, putting the less important ones in a "Clutter" folder.

Microsoft has since replaced this feature with Focused Inbox, but if you had Clutter turned on when the transition occurred, it is still active. The controls for turning Clutter on and off have been removed. If you want to turn Clutter off, the workaround is to turn Focused Inbox on. And if you don't want Focused Inbox turned on, just turn it back off; Clutter will not return. Wait about an hour between turning Focused Inbox on and turning it back off.
