Additional Terms for Extra Storage Discount

Term Definition
Department The university account number that was charged.
Nodename The first three characters of the university account number are used to define the "department."
Support Person The person identified as being the primary person (or persons) who will be installing, configuring, and answering questions related to EZ-Backup/TSM. This is specified on the EZ-Backup subscription form.
# Qualifying Accounts The number of accounts, including this one, which are sharing this discount. These other accounts will: (1) share the same department code and (2) will have one or more systems sharing the same Support Person.
# Qualifying Systems The number of systems which qualify for this discount. The number is shown both for the entire department and just for this account. The systems must have the same Support Person in order to qualify. Qualifying systems are identified by an asterisk (*) to the left of their nodename.
Extra Storage The amount of TSM storage in excess of 50 GB that is being used by one system.
Aggregated Extra Storage The total amount of Extra Storage in use for all qualifying systems. The number is shown both for the entire department and just for this account. The credit is distributed to each account, prorated by this Aggregated Extra Storage usage for each account within the department.

Additional Terms for Static Data

Term Definition
Qualifying System The EZ-Backup nodename for the system qualifying for the discount. This system must meet the qualifications for the >100 GB Static Data Rate.
Extra Storage The amount of EZ-Backup storage in excess of 50 GB that is being used by one system.
Extra Storage >100GB The amount of Extra Storage in excess of 100 GB. This is the amount of storage which receives the discount.
Credit for Extra Storage >100GB The savings represented by the lower storage rate for Extra Storage exceeding 100 GB. The credit rate is the difference between the ">100GB Static Data Rate" and the "Extra Storage Rate." This is because the extra storage in excess of 100 GB is given both discounts.
