Manage Local Accounts (Endpoint Management Tools - Mac)

Local account management lets you create local accounts on managed computers, remove accounts, and reset their passwords.

Log into your JSS site at https://jssmgt.it.cornell.edu/<JSSInstance>
replacing <JSSInstance> with your instance's name.
For example, https://jssmgt.it.cornell.edu/limnology - Click .
- Click .
- Click the icon.
- Enter a Display Name.
- Select a Site, a Category, a Trigger, and an Execution Frequency.
- Under the Options tab, click .
- Click .

From the Action drop-down list, select the desired action and complete the required information.
- : enter the account information (required fields are indicated).
- Username (the short name for the account) and a new password twice. : enter
- Username, enter the short name for the account, then check . : for
- Click .
Casper does not include a provision for changing the password hint associated with a local account, so if you change the password, the hint will no longer be accurate.
