Enroll a Client via URL (Endpoint Management Tools - Mac)

Enrolling a client via an enrollment URL generates a QuickAdd package that allows a single enrollment (it cannot be reused). If you need to enroll many Macs, see our QuickAdd package procedure.

Before attempting to use the enrollment URL procedure, make sure the features described on our Settings for User-Initiated Enrollments page are enabled.

  1. In your browser, open the enrollment URL for your instance,
    (substituting your instance name for JSSInstance)
    and login with your NetID and Password.
  2. A QuickAdd package will download and launch.
  3. When prompted, enter credentials for an administrative account on that Mac and complete the install process.
    It may take several minutes to complete the process as it includes the first inventory scan.
