Verify If an E-signature Request Is Legitimate

Cornell users can check the message they received against the sample posted on the IT Security Office's Verified Cornell Communications site.

All users can check that the message comes from , although you will also see the name of the person who initiated the request.

When you hover your cursor over the link in the message, the address you see should begin with

https://cornelluniversity.na1.adobesign.com/public/esign

If it shows an address that begins with something else, do NOT click the link. Instead, email the IT Security Office.
