Install Desktop Everywhere on Supported Devices

How to connect to Desktop Everywhere using supported PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, or Thin Client devices

This article applies to: Desktop Everywhere

You can connect to Desktop Everywhere using the supported devices and operating systems listed on this page. Other devices may work but are not supported by IT@Cornell. You can install Desktop Everywhere on all of your favorite devices but may only connect from one device at a time.
In a pinch, connect through your web browser. The experience isn't quite as good, but it gets better with every release.
Always save your work before disconnecting. After 8 hours of inactivity, Desktop Everywhere will log you off and you will need to restart any software you were previously using. Your files, folders, and desktop settings will be saved for use the next time you sign in.
