Set Up Apple Mail for Your Google Workspace Account
We recommend that you not use this procedure, but we recognize that some people prefer Apple Mail.

We strongly recommend that you work with your Cornell Google Workspace email using Google's web interface at gsuite.cornell.edu. Using Apple Mail is not as good.
However, if you choose to view your messages through Apple Mail, see below.
Turn on IMAP access in Google Workspace.
The steps below will not work correctly until IMAP has been enabled in the account.
- Close Apple Mail.
- Open your Mac's .
- Click .
- Click .
- Follow the prompts to add your Google Workspace account. You will need your address (NetID@cornell.edu) and the associated password.
- Close the Internet Accounts dialog box.
- Open .
- Test for sending/receiving/syncing.
